Eighties fashion, also on the luxury lingerie front, smoothly transitioned into the nineties and added a bit more grunge to it…
We still used neon colors for the lingerie look and lit up any rave showing off our bright bras with mighty pizazz.
Yep, the lingerie-inspired look was all the fashion, also in the nineties.
Probably even more so in the nineties than the eighties.
On the other hand and next to the brightness, we also found the minimalist look in nineties luxury lingerie fashion.
And we loved corsets! Lacy ones.
Not for its original functionality way back when, but for its sexy and often grungy look.
~SPORTY LUXURY LINGERIE~
Next to bright or even neon-colored frou-frou lingerie, we also found big sporty elastic bands, often carrying the name of the designer, edging our fairly minimalist luxury lingerie.
This was also so thé thing in the 90s!
Just look at the luxury lingerie collections by Calvin Klein and the like back then.
*By the way, over the past years, designer lingerie brand Bordelle elevated this banded look to perfection and they sublimely play around with these beautiful elasticated straps.
Just have a wee look, you won’t be disappointed!

Do you recall the ‘Hello Boys’ ad from Wonderbra?
We’re of course referring to the mighty Push Up bra!
And yes, we still fancy having that awesome cleavage with the amazing help of the Push-Up bra.
Such an excellent invention that bears ground even today.
As the name says, by means of the shapely pads it pushes the bosom up and squeezes the breasts together to create that highly seductive cleavage.
*On this front, Bordelle also shines and has a few stunning Push-Up bras in their gloriously bodacious bold arsenal.
~HOW ABOUT ANIMAL-PRINTED LUXURY LINGERIE?~
Oh yes! All the vogue!
And guess what, it has made a huge come-back in recent years.
Go wild like in the nineties, with snakeskin patterns, leopard spots, zebra-, and tiger stripes embellishing your luxury lingerie, and let us hear your sexy roar in the boudoir!
We’re certainly still or again majorly crushing on animal prints adorning our luxury lingerie.
