I must admit that I wasn't really interested by her last winter collections, which was in my opinion a little bit colorless, but it's a nice pleasure today to recover the gracious style of Rosanna Ansaloni.
Her spring-summer 2009 collection (presented here) is indeed absolutely glamour: in the same time deliciously retro through the cuts and definitely sensual through the fabrics and the details...
It results gorgeous sets, full of delicacy and tenderness without forget to be sexy...

The new spring-summer 2009 collection has just been launched at Myla and, except one or two sets very provocative, it's a wiser season which emerge of laces...
Many beautiful things as usual, as for example the silk of Evelyn (below) or the adorable Lilian Short, at which I couldn't resist!
A collection a little less Showtime then usually, which inspires a more soft seduction but (we're well at Myla) always definitely Femme Fatale...

Of course you will be many to let comments or send me emails about the slimness of the model choosen by I.D. Sarrieri to present it summer 2009 collection, and I won't say you're wrong...
But if you stay concentrated in the softness of it lingerie, you must be blinded by the delicacy of the details, the quality of the fabrics and the sensuality which emerge of the collection...

And God Created Woman has revealed at the Salon de la Lingerie de Paris it new nightwear collection and it's, as usual since the creation of the brand, full of marvellous temptations...
This evening lingerie is close to cocktail dresses, in pure silk or soft cashmere, with cuts vibrating between Japanese kimonos and Indian Saris...

Salon de la Lingerie 2009, 9: Der Kommissar

We quit now the Hollywood glamour for a walk in the Red district of Amsterdam with Der Kommissar and their urban and provocative lingerie.
The brand is not really new, it started in 2004, but I must admit that I was greatly surprised by the collections presented in Paris, less rock n'roll then the first ones and so (in my opinion) more sexy and more attractive... The designer, Annelies Nuy, says that she wants to start a story you have to finish; and then she creates many pieces which are invitations to play, as a gorgeous belt which hide mysterious silk ribbons...

Salon de la Lingerie 2009, 8: the Fred & Ginger lingerie

Pleasant meeting in Paris with Victoria Holt, designer of Fred & Ginger. A lingerie with a retro charm and definitely inspired by Hollywood which will carry you in cinemascope and in duo (she creates also men's underwear, sometimes matching with her women's designs..) in a world of satin and laces where frou-frous are kings...
Here is below a little preview of their collections to come; the two actual collections are to discover on the Fred & Ginger website (note that an online shopping section will be launched soon).
So glamour, isn't it?

Very nice catwalk from Chantelle at the Salon de la Lingerie: beautiful staging and gorgeous accessories which give to the lingerie a very Haute-Couture spirit...
